It was normal for Fang Mu to feel astonished.

Because these two were the exact same man and woman who, over a month ago, had suddenly and inexplicably rushed out while he was battling five serrated hyenas alone in the Thousand Gloom Wasteland to advance to the Bronze rank, shouting something about a "great god" at him!

They... lived here?

Fang Mu’s gaze narrowed subconsciously, a flicker of suspicion emerging in his heart.

"Hey buddy, haven't seen you around before. Just moved in?"

Fang Mu did not speak, but the young man outside the door flashed a smile, greeting him with a sense of easy familiarity.

Fang Mu’s mind raced, but he remained composed, returning the smile with a nod. "Just moved in a month ago."

"Oh, that explains it. We just got back from the battlefield... Haha, we live in 1801. We’re neighbors now, let's hang out sometime," the young man said with a bright, cheerful laugh.

Fang Mu smiled and nodded in response.

"Anyway, I won't keep you. Look at the state we're in; we need to get cleaned up. Catch you later."

The young man waved at Fang Mu with a grin and headed toward 1801.

Fang Mu’s gaze swept past him to the young woman following behind. She was looking at him with a touch of curiosity.

He paused for a moment, then offered a smile and a nod toward her.

The smile caused the girl’s eyes to brighten slightly; she smiled back and nodded as well.

Without saying a word, she followed the young man inside.

Fang Mu watched them reach 1801 and step through the door, which they then closed. He gently shut his own door as well.

Standing behind the door, the smile on Fang Mu’s face gradually faded, and his brow furrowed.

A coincidence?

His eyes flickered.

"It should be a coincidence. I didn't reveal my face at the time; it’s impossible for them to recognize me. And no one knew I moved to the Bright Moon residential complex... Still, just in case..."

Thinking this, Fang Mu walked into the living room and pulled out his communicator. After a moment of hesitation, he dialed a number.

"Hello, Mr. Fang. How can I help you?" Liang Bingyun’s gentle voice sounded on the other end.

"Oh, it's nothing, I just wanted to thank you for helping me out earlier," Fang Mu said with a smile.

"Ah?" A hint of surprise surfaced in Liang Bingyun’s voice, clearly not expecting Fang Mu to call for such a reason. She quickly added, "Mr. Fang, you’re too kind. I didn't really do anything to help."

Fang Mu chuckled softly, then asked with feigned curiosity, "By the way, Miss Liang, do you know who lives in 1801?"

"Ah?"

Liang Bingyun paused, then said with a touch of hesitation, "Well, Mr. Fang, we have strict regulations at the Bright Moon complex. We aren't allowed to disclose owner information without authorization. So..."

"Oh, no, I didn't mean for you to leak any private information. I just wanted to report something—I saw two people earlier who seemed a bit suspicious. They looked like they had just returned from the battlefield, but judging by their clothes, they didn't quite look like residents here. So..." Fang Mu’s tone sounded hesitant.

Liang Bingyun was taken aback and quickly said, "Is that so? Please wait a moment, let me check..."

Fang Mu heard her speaking to someone on the other end before she returned. "Mr. Fang, I’ve checked. You can rest assured, those two are indeed owners here... Thank you for your vigilance."

"Are you sure they are owners here?" Fang Mu pressed.

Liang Bingyun hesitated for a moment before saying, "Yes, please don't worry. Those two have been owners of 1801 for over half a year. Our security at Bright Moon is very thorough; no unauthorized individuals can just wander in."

Over half a year?

Fang Mu’s eyes flashed slightly.

"I see... Good, I'm relieved to know they aren't suspicious characters. Talk to you later."

"Goodbye, Mr. Fang."

Fang Mu hung up the communicator.

It seemed to be a coincidence after all, not someone targeting him.

After all, his move to the Bright Moon complex was a spur-of-the-moment decision; it was impossible for anyone to know. Naturally, no one could have colluded with Liang Bingyun to deceive him.

Since this man and woman had been living there for over half a year, they clearly hadn't come for him.

With that settled, Fang Mu stopped worrying. He walked into the bathroom to wash up.

...

"Ah, it feels so good to be home!"

Zhou Xiaolin threw himself onto the soft sofa, letting out a satisfied sigh as he felt his entire body lighten.

"Hey, you're filthy! Go take a shower, you're getting the sofa dirty!" Zhou Xiaozhou glared at him.

Zhou Xiaolin couldn't be bothered to move and ignored her. Zhou Xiaozhou rolled her eyes and decided to let it go—she was covered in dirt herself.

She filled the bathtub in the master bathroom with hot water, grabbed clean clothes, and poured in some fatigue-relieving, skin-nourishing additives. After a quick rinse in the shower, she sank into the tub.

"Ah, that's the life..."

She let out a soft moan like a kitten, closed her eyes, and enjoyed the relaxation.

After a short while, she opened her eyes, picked up the optical computer sitting nearby, and excitedly navigated to the Q-Station website.

She skillfully found the video she had posted. When she saw the numbers, her eyes curved into crescents.

"[Melee Gun God—The Existence That Shattered Class Barriers!]"

And looking at her follower count... 906,700.

Compared to top streamers with millions, tens of millions, or even over a hundred million followers, her count was nothing.

But one had to remember, before this video... she had only had a measly few thousand followers!

Nine hundred thousand, nearly a million?

This was something she had never even dreamed of.

Unsurprisingly, the video had gone viral.

For her, it was a massive success!

It had even made it onto the recommendations for the combat section of Q-Station!

She still remembered the nervousness she felt when she first uploaded the video, and the sheer excitement when she received the recommendation notification from the backend.

Combat section recommendation!

Even though it was just in the category interface and not on the main page...

It was an experience she had never had before!

Ever since it was recommended, her notifications had never stopped. She truly understood what it felt like to be "bombarded for 24 hours."

Views skyrocketed, likes skyrocketed...

The number of comments, in particular, was staggering.

Generally, a video with this many views and likes would have between 200,000 and 300,000 comments. Even 100,000 would be considered normal.

Yet, the comment count on this video had reached a staggering one million!

What did that mean?

It meant that this video had truly captured people's attention, because only those who were deeply invested would take the time to comment.

Even today, the heat of the video had long since passed and it was no longer in the recommended slots, but her backend still occasionally popped up with fresh comments.

She opened the video. To ensure its authenticity, she hadn't added many special effects or edits. But the lack of polish only made it feel more real.

In the slightly blurry footage, the figure under siege by five serrated hyenas was performing a breathtaking and magnificent dance of life and death.

Massive amounts of bullet comments drifted across the video, so thick and layered that the text was hard to read.

"Holy crap, is this really a Gunner?!"

"Gunners can play like this?"

"My mom asked me why I'm watching this on my knees..."

"Wait for the guy above, my mom is asking me too!"

"Daring to play like this? This Gunner has to be at least Silver rank, right?"

"Silver rank is still insane! As a Bronze rank Berserker who fused with 'Swift Step,' I can't even pull off the moves in this video... Am I a fake Berserker?"

"Are all Evolvers gods? A normal person is shivering in fear..."

"Shivering in fear +1! ...Any Evolver experts here to educate us? Is the Gunner in the video really that strong?"

The bullet comments were never short of entertainment. Among the crowd of jokers, there were a few experts mixed in...

"It’s not a Silver rank Gunner; he’s Bronze. You can tell from the 'Blaze' ability he used at the end. I didn't expect that after all these years, someone would start researching melee Gunner arts again..."
