Liu Long glanced around and picked up the Great Que Sword. “I’ll use this,” he said.

Everyone began to select weapons that suited them.

In the end, Liu Long wielded the Great Que Sword, Pan Yuxin chose two Hundred-Forged Daggers, Liu Hu selected a pair of knuckle dusters, while Leng Yuhang and Wang Hao took nothing.

Zhou Yu turned to Pan Yuxin and said, “Girl, when you have time, teach that blockhead I brought along how to use a dagger.”

Pan Yuxin nodded silently.

Once everyone got off the vehicle, Zhou Yu went inside and fetched his broadsword, swung it twice, and murmured, “Brother, it’s been a while. Today, you’ll finally taste blood again.”

He then raised his arm and called out, “Get in the cars, let’s move.”

Zhou Yu had Leng Yuhang drive the modified police car to lead the way, Zhao Yan followed in the RV, while he and the other two—Nian Yu and Pan Yuxin—rested inside the RV.

In the RV, Zhou Yu donned the soft armor next to his skin, pulled on his gloves, and over the armor wore only a shirt, leaving the buttons undone.

Nian Yu remarked, “You’re wearing so little. Aren’t you cold?”

Zhou Yu replied, “It’s fine. Once the fighting starts, I’ll warm up. Besides, wearing too much just gets in the way.”

Nian Yu countered, “Why not wear a T-shirt instead of a shirt?”

Zhou Yu chuckled, “Because I want to look cool. Ha!”

Nian Yu snorted at his response and said nothing more.

At that moment, Pan Yuxin began changing her clothes as well.

But Nian Yu turned Zhou Yu away, blocking his view.

When Zhou Yu turned back, Pan Yuxin was already dressed in a pink tracksuit, her striking curves on full display.

Zhou Yu, having not seen the girl for a long time, was momentarily stunned.

It was understandable; when he left, Pan Yuxin was not yet twenty, but now she was in her twenties, graceful and elegant.

Nian Yu snorted, “All you do is stare, hmph.”

Zhou Yu, hearing her snort, quickly coughed twice to ease the awkwardness.

Afterward, Nian Yu called Pan Yuxin over and began chatting with her, leaving Zhou Yu ignored.

After a while.

The convoy stopped at the entrance to the SH City military district.

Zhou Yu was the first to get out, gazing at the wall beside the military district. He felt conflicted.

The wall was over two meters tall—not exactly high, but not low either. He worried Wang Hao might not be able to scale it.

Zhou Yu dashed forward, kicked off the wall for leverage, grabbed the edge, and pulled himself up with both arms.

He looked inside.

He cursed softly, “Damn, this is terrifying.”

The entire parade ground was crawling with zombies. Not densely packed, but certainly numerous.

Zhou Yu jumped down.

Everyone else had already alighted.

Liu Long and the others had changed into their gear.

Zhou Yu said, “Looks like we’ll have to force our way through. And I don’t think all the zombies are out here—there must be more inside the buildings.”

Liu Long shrugged, “No worries. If it’s not enough, we’ll just fight a few more rounds. What’s there to be afraid of?”

Zhou Yu nodded, “Alright, gear up. Let’s clear a path first.”

With that, he went to the car and retrieved his broadsword, then took another blade from Xiaolong.

Once everyone had their weapons, Zhou Yu said, “Let’s go. Time to show these scum the might of the Asura.”

No one replied; they simply vaulted onto the wall’s edge, Zhou Yu leading the charge.

He dropped down and shouted, “Kill!”

Then, he plunged headlong into the horde of zombies.
