Liu Long said, "So, Ni, you must have chosen a place by now."

Zhou Yu replied, "Yes, I have. I think we should go to the military district in SH City. Or perhaps the war criminal prison in SH City."

Liu Long frowned and said, "Xiao Yu, you came from outside, so you should know that the more densely populated an area is, the more zombies there will be. Yet you chose these two places. Tell us your reasoning."

Zhou Yu replied, "You're right. There are several reasons why I chose these two locations."

"First, both are large compounds with high walls. They offer substantial protection. Although the main gate may be weak, as long as we don't face a massive horde of zombies, it shouldn't be a big problem. Later on, we can reinforce the gate as needed."

"Second, whether it's the military district or the prison, both have night vision equipment. That’s a huge advantage for us at night. At the very least, I’ll know if an attack is coming."

"Third, both sites cover a large area. For now, survival is our priority. Our current manpower isn’t sufficient for long-term defense, so we’ll need more people. If the place is too small for a growing group, things could get awkward."

"Fourth, regarding supplies: both the military district and the prison stockpile resources—food, weapons, ammunition. And their large area and multiple entrances mean we could even start farming and become self-sufficient."

"Fifth, I have a feeling that there may still be survivors in both places. Whether in the prison cells, the military’s storage rooms, or the main offices, the defenses are quite robust."

Liu Long asked, "So, have you decided which place we’ll target?"

Zhou Yu answered, "Neither will be easy to take. And after we take one, we'll have to deal with any survivors already there."

Liu Long said, "That's a serious problem."

Just then, Liu Hu interjected, "What problem? We rescue them, they join us, end of story."

Zhou Yu shook his head. "It's not that simple. First, they're not ordinary people—they're either soldiers or police. Their mindset is different. And if there are a lot of them, are you so sure there won’t be dissent?"

Liu Hu snorted, "I can’t stand the police—always greedy, worse than street thugs. If they don’t obey, we deal with them. I don’t believe they’re not afraid of death."

Zhou Yu said, "Not all police are like that. And we haven’t even decided on the prison for sure."

Liu Long suggested, "Why not the military district? Xiao Hu and I both served in the army, so we're familiar with how things work there. And like Xiao Hu said, if they don’t follow our lead, we can save them, or eliminate them if necessary."

Zhou Yu glanced at the others and asked, "If no one objects, we’ll settle on the military district."

No one had any objections.

Zhou Yu stood up and called the three women out from the other room.

After they’d all sat down, Zhou Yu said, "Since we’ve decided on a location, I’ll start working on a battle plan."

Liu Hu spoke first, "Don’t ask me—I don’t get these things. Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it."

Zhao Yan said, "I think we should scout out the situation first before making a decision."

Wang Hao, who had been silent, finally spoke, "You don’t know our team well. We usually assign everyone their tasks first, and then make adjustments right before we set out. It’s all to make sure nothing goes wrong."

Liu Long added, "Xiao Yu, now that you’re back, we won’t rack our brains over this. Just share your plan. If something doesn’t work, we’ll change it."
