Chapter Sixty
The burly man, holding the woman in his arms, entered as well. When he emerged, he too was carrying a gun.
He pointed the gun at Zhou Yu and said, "Xiao Yu, long time no see. I wonder how you've been lately."
Zhou Yu merely planted his gun on the ground, exuding a solitary, unyielding aura that seemed to bar the way to a thousand men. He replied, "I've been well, just haven't sparred in a while. It's a good opportunity to test myself against you, see how my skills hold up."
The burly man said, "Are you sure you don't want to use a blade? Your old knife is still inside."
Zhou Yu replied, "No need. Let me show you my marksmanship."
"Alright then, I won't hold back," the burly man declared.
No sooner had he spoken than he charged straight at Zhou Yu.
Inside, everyone listened nervously to the clamor outside.
After a while, the sounds ceased.
Nian Yu and Xiao Jie unconsciously tightened their grip on each other's hands.
Nian Yu knew Zhou Yu was acquainted with them, but even so, surely friends shouldn't start fighting the moment they meet.
Moreover, the little girl with the dagger was still eyeing her coldly.
Nian Yu cursed Zhou Yu several times in her heart—this bastard, why couldn't he come in with me?
Just then, Zhou Yu and the burly man strode in, laughing heartily.
Zhou Yu approached and patted Nian Yu and Xiao Jie’s hands, signaling for them to relax—he was fine.
He shouted with laughter, "Little Mouse, get down here, I’m back! And Little Cold, come over!"
A figure leapt down from the rooftop—a slim man who said, "Call me Little Mouse again and I'll shoot you in the ass the next time you fight."
Another man, unremarkable in appearance, walked over from the RV. He said, "Kid, you’re living the RV life now, eh? Not bad."
Zhou Yu scoffed, "Like you never let anyone talk. Not bad, my ass—I'm almost out of instant noodles."
The first part was directed at the slim man, the second clearly at the plain-looking one.
Then Zhou Yu said, "Alright, enough joking. Let me introduce everyone."
Zhou Yu thought for a moment. "Let me start with the Ashura."
He pointed at the burly man with the gun. "His name is Liu Long. We call him Little Long in private. His codename is Dragon, and he's known outside as the God of War."
He then pointed at the tall man. "That's Liu Hu, Liu Long’s junior. We call him Little Tiger, codename Pluto, known outside as Titan."
Next, he gestured to the slim man. "His name is Wang Hao. We call him Little Hao, but I prefer Little Mouse. Codename Skeleton, the legendary Sniper."
Then he pointed to the unremarkable man. "That's Leng Yuhang, whom we call Little Cold. Codename Death, or the God of Cars."
Finally, Zhou Yu looked at the woman standing beside Little Long. "She must be Little Long’s wife, probably joined after I left. Let’s call her Sister Long."
The woman spoke, "Benefactor, my name is Yang Ting. Four years ago, after you saved me and avenged me, it was Long and the others who took me to the hospital. Long never minded my situation, always came to care for me, and eventually..."
Zhou Yu scratched his head awkwardly. "Don’t call me benefactor, just Xiao Yu."
He looked at the little girl for a moment, saying nothing.
