Chu Feng and Ma Han took another car to the military region along with Demon Dragon. Since they had captured him, they would interrogate him through the night.

The man had committed far too many crimes. Once Chu Feng and his team obtained the intelligence they wanted, they would hand Demon Dragon directly over to the court for judgment.

The Kyoto Military Region wasn't too far from the airport—about an hour's drive. By the time they arrived, it was already two in the morning.

The soldiers first took Demon Dragon to the infirmary, where he was given a simple bandaging—just enough to keep him from bleeding to death. After that, he was brought to a small room, one that the military region used to punish officers by making them reflect on their mistakes.

Before long, Chu Feng, Ma Han, and another man entered the small room together. The third man had been specially assigned by the military region to assist with the interrogation and keep the record.

"Demon Dragon, do you want a taste of physical pain, or would you rather just confess everything you need to say without any trouble?" Chu Feng wasn't in the mood for idle talk; it all depended on Demon Dragon's attitude.

Demon Dragon simply shot Chu Feng a contemptuous glance, then closed his eyes and tilted his head up. He clearly didn't take Chu Feng seriously at all.

"Since you're unwilling to talk, I won't force you. I'll just conduct a little research on the human body structure instead. Who knows—I might stumble upon something scientists have never discovered."

Chu Feng walked up to Demon Dragon. Demon Dragon still had explosives strapped to his body, because he had said that if the device lost contact, the heartbeat sensor would trigger an immediate detonation. So Chu Feng and the others had left it on him, letting him carry it.

"As a killer, you should know where the body's pain nerves are. I have a method that can amplify a person's pain sensation a hundredfold. Then I'll put you in a box full of ants."

Chu Feng stopped there, because he didn't need to spell it out—Demon Dragon could imagine what would happen next.

Demon Dragon didn't believe a word of it. He had been a killer for many years and had never heard of any technology that could amplify pain. Even America couldn't do something like that.

"Brother, what happens next might be a bit bloody. I'm afraid you might not be able to handle it. Would you like to step out for a moment?" Chu Feng kindly warned the soldier who had accompanied them, fearing the man wouldn't be able to stomach the scene.

"No worries. I can learn a thing or two from you. Maybe next time we go on a mission, this could come in handy for interrogating some stubborn bastards."

The man was honest, outright saying what was on his mind.

Hearing that, Chu Feng said nothing more. Instead, he pulled a silver needle from his chest and held it over a lighter flame for a while.

Once the needle was glowing red, Chu Feng walked behind Demon Dragon and pressed a few spots along his cervical spine. Finding the right place, he stabbed the needle straight in.

Demon Dragon felt a sudden pain at the back of his neck, but it disappeared after a moment. He was just about to mock Chu Feng when, before the words left his mouth, a tormenting agony that seemed to come from the very depths of his soul erupted through him.

Ah! The pain made him scream out unwillingly. When Chu Feng had stomped his legs and broken them earlier, he hadn't made a sound. But now he cried out—which meant the pain he was enduring had exceeded his threshold of tolerance.

Chu Feng walked over to Demon Dragon and directly dislocated every finger on his left hand. The excruciating pain made him scream again.

The pain had been amplified many times over, but if Chu Feng really had turned it up a hundredfold, it would have killed Demon Dragon on the spot.

"Demon Dragon, this is only ten times the pain right now. If you can't take it anymore, answer my questions obediently. Don't worry—as long as I'm here, you definitely won't die."

Demon Dragon did feel an impulse to bite his tongue off and end it all, but the searing pain throughout his body left him without any strength. And Chu Feng's words were steadily demolishing his psychological defenses.

Seeing Demon Dragon whimpering in agony but refusing to speak, Chu Feng moved to his right side and dislocated every finger on his right hand as well.

This time, Demon Dragon didn't even let out a scream. He simply passed out from the pain. Seeing this, Chu Feng walked over, grabbed a disposable cup, poured a cup of hot water, and splashed it across Demon Dragon's face.

Ma Han and the soldier beside him both felt their hearts tremble at Chu Feng's methods. Ma Han handled it better—he had witnessed Chu Feng's techniques before.

But the soldier standing next to Ma Han—his eyes twitched several times after watching what Chu Feng did. He hadn't expected Chu Feng to be so ruthless.

The hot water scalded Demon Dragon awake. After regaining consciousness, he didn't dare look at his own hands. A flicker of fear appeared in his eyes.

"If you still won't talk, I'll pop your dislocated fingers back into place, then dislocate them all over again. Let's see how long you can hold out."

"Oh, and I forgot to tell you—I pushed the needle in a little deeper just now. You're feeling twenty times the pain now. I wonder if you can take it."

Chu Feng was completely bluffing with that one. His words were purely a psychological assault, because once your pain has been amplified tenfold, you can no longer tell exactly how much more intense it has become.

Even if someone tells you it's ten or twenty times stronger, it's just a psychological cue. If someone truly wants to torture you, you only feel the pain—you can't actually tell whether it's worse than a moment ago.

"If you've got the guts, kill me! What kind of hero tortures a man like this?" Demon Dragon suddenly roared at Chu Feng.

"How could I bear to kill you? You've got so much useful information in that head of yours—I have to take good care of you. Besides, if you don't tell me everything you know, I'll make sure you can't die even if you want to, and can't live even if you beg for it."

Chu Feng's tone at the beginning was full of frivolity, but by the end it was dripping with murderous intent. Even Demon Dragon was startled by the killing aura radiating from Chu Feng.

According to the intelligence he had received, Chu Feng was just a doctor with some martial skill. But he never expected that this very doctor would emanate such a powerful killing intent.

"Let me ask you the first question: who exactly is that companion of yours? You usually work alone, so why did you suddenly bring someone along today? And that person seems to feel no pain at all."

Chu Feng had reviewed Demon Dragon's dossier before, and he had also heard from Mad Dog and Jess that Demon Dragon always operated solo and never brought along underlings or the like.
