129. I Am Accompanied by Five Girlfriends in Marvel

The weather was clear and crisp as the private jet soared above the clouds. Several hours later, it touched down in the City of Angels, Los Angeles, on the West Coast.

As the plane landed, Tony Stark, acting as the local host, welcomed his passengers. "Welcome to LA, the City of Angels! For the duration of your stay, all expenses in Los Angeles are on me!"

It was evident that compared to the heartbreaking memories of New York, Los Angeles provided Tony with a sense of security, his generosity far exceeding that of some wealthy playboy. After experiencing Deidara’s "Starfish" self-destruction, Tony had once again confirmed that he was cursed when it came to New York; otherwise, how could it be that among so many people stepping up, he was the only one sent flying by an explosion?

Upon waking, the first thing Tony did was lobby the Avengers to move out of New York and relocate to Los Angeles, with him handling all logistics regarding food and lodging. S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers had few objections. New York had already been reduced to ruins; leaving a skeleton crew for post-war reconstruction while moving the bulk of the organization to Los Angeles for operations was a logical decision.

Tony had also casually suggested that Su Ye’s "Guardians of the Great Wall" should move to Los Angeles as well, so they could look out for one another. Tony had expected Su Ye to refuse, given that the Osborn Group behind the Guardians was rooted in New York, and even if the city was a ruin, reconstruction was a monumental task they shouldn't abandon.

To his surprise, Su Ye readily agreed. Su Ye certainly had no objections; New York was a ruin, and fighting in ruins was dull—Spider-Man couldn't even swing his webs there. It was better to be in the bustling city of Los Angeles. He could let Abomination have a good fight with Kisame Hoshigaki, giving the Americans a taste of the Akatsuki organization's power while gifting the City of Angels a little "surprise." After all, Los Angeles was an international metropolis on par with New York. If New York was destroyed by aliens, wouldn't it be insulting if Los Angeles didn't even have a single explosion?

Only those who have felt the same evening breeze can truly be said to have embraced!

And so, the Guardians of the Great Wall joined the Avengers on the flight to Los Angeles. Tony Stark provided the office locations for both organizations, and Su Ye had no complaints. Everything was temporary anyway; it might be blown to bits at any moment, so the location didn't matter. Furthermore, Los Angeles was just one stop; the next might be San Francisco or Chicago, and Washington D.C. would eventually have its turn.

Just as Su Ye and his group arrived in Los Angeles, a car was speeding toward the city along the highway crossing the country. Through the window, a man with greasepaint on his face, a twisted grin, and hair that looked unwashed for years poked his head out. He let the wind blow against his face, causing his lips to flap and exposing yellowed teeth and gums. It seemed dogs weren't the only ones who enjoyed such things.

Judging by his makeup, this was none other than the Joker. He had spent a long time planning in New York, even reaching out to Madame Gao, one of the five elders of The Hand, intending to pull off something big. But plans change faster than reality. Before the Joker could execute his scheme, the Chitauri launched their sudden invasion. New York was engulfed in flames, bombings, and explosions. Now, New York didn't even need the Joker to finish it off; it was already a ruin, and social order had completely vanished.

Logically, such chaos should have aligned perfectly with the Joker's philosophy. The problem was that over half the population had perished, and the survivors were fleeing in droves—saying nine out of ten were gone would be an understatement. The Joker didn't need to weigh his options: why play in a sparsely populated ruin when he could tear down another thriving metropolis? His gaze settled on Los Angeles, the second-largest city in the United States, and he began his planning and reconnaissance with great enthusiasm. He wondered which local gangs he could exploit, and especially Tony Stark—if he could drag that man into the mess, it would be truly entertaining.

What the Joker didn't know was that the superheroes had already arrived in Los Angeles, and disaster had arrived with them.

Meanwhile, members of the Akatsuki organization were using their own methods to converge on Los Angeles. The news Itachi brought back was that the Jinchuriki, Su Ye, had discovered their presence and decided to flee, likely returning to his home country. Upon hearing this, the Akatsuki immediately decided to give chase. Under no circumstances could they let Su Ye return to the Dragon Kingdom. That land was not only a no-go zone for mercenaries but also for rogue ninjas like them; almost no ninja who dared enter the Dragon Kingdom without permission ever walked out alive. They had to finish Su Ye in Los Angeles; they could delay no longer.

While the two sides were en route, Su Ye was busy taking his "harem" to walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Superheroes are human, and humans have needs—especially the women in Su Ye’s inner circle.

Gwen, Sharon, Raven, Hinata, and Mai Shiranui, who had rushed back from Japan after hearing about the alien invasion—Su Ye had gathered all his "girlfriend cards." Aside from Catwoman, whose affection level was still negative and who was wandering somewhere unknown, the rest were all present.

When five women are gathered together, the situation is... indescribable. Especially with Gwen and Mai Shiranui, both of whom believed they were Su Ye's only girlfriend. Neither had the soft, submissive temperament of Hinata, so the idea of them peacefully sitting together to play cards was impossible. Hinata was still young; though reluctant, she could only wait silently to grow up. As for Raven, she spent the whole time mocking Su Ye; it was generous enough that she wasn't actively sabotaging him, let alone helping. Su Ye suspected she might actually shapeshift into his likeness and go "do the deed" herself.

Modern people are so fragile; they can't even accept being cheated on by their own clones, let alone by their own "sister." Wait, if it's his sister "grinding tofu," does that count as cheating? That was a possibility, but the problem was whether Raven would do it. With leverage in her hands, why wouldn't she use it? She might pull it out halfway through. No, he dared not think about it.

Helpless, Su Ye had to juggle his schedule. He had a clone take Gwen, Sharon, Raven, and Hinata to the Hollywood Walk of Fame to look at the celebrity handprints and footprints. Of course, the handprints at the Chinese Theatre were private property with limited value—if minor celebrities could leave them, their worth was truly questionable. According to information from Uchiha Itachi, the Akatsuki would reach Los Angeles in at most two days. Su Ye had arranged for the battlefield between Abomination and Kisame Hoshigaki to be right there on the Walk of Fame—because of its fame, after all.

The clone accompanied Gwen and the others, while Su Ye’s本体 (original body) stayed with Mai Shiranui, engaging in activities related to the origins of humanity—that is all that can be said on that subject. Once he finished entertaining Mai, Su Ye would swap places: the clone would take Mai to Disneyland, while the original body returned to Gwen’s group. With Gwen, Sharon, and Raven, he couldn't form a mahjong table or play cards, so he had to entertain them one by one. Consequently, Su Ye’s life was tense and fulfilling.

Raven, in particular, maintained the image of Su Ruiwen—a male, Su Ye’s younger brother. So even if they were intimate, Gwen didn't think much of it, instead praising the strong bond between the brothers. Raven, however, used this convenience to constantly drag Su Ye to the bathroom, squatting for over half an hour at a time, several times a day. It got to the point where Gwen wanted to buy her laxatives at the pharmacy; such chronic constipation was not a solution.

During this time, Su Ye also had to use his clones to familiarize himself with the powers of Professor X and Magneto—mainly Magneto. In the films, Magneto had overturned massive ships and lifted bridges; his control over metal was on the scale of tens of thousands of tons. Su Ye couldn't let himself be outdone. Through Tony Stark’s connections, he found an abandoned steel plant where he conducted a series of skill tests and move developments. Two days passed, and the results were quite good. Balancing girlfriends and training made for a happy and fulfilling life.

Early that morning, Su Ye received notice from Uchiha Itachi that the Akatsuki had entered the city. When he got the news, the background music was the sound of invaders entering a village—Hinata was watching a cheesy anti-war drama, loud and engrossed, giving Su Ye a surreal sense of temporal displacement.

After setting the location with Itachi, Su Ye controlled a clone, drove a box truck, and headed toward the Walk of Fame. This time, he didn't notify anyone, especially not the local host, Tony Stark. He wanted to give Abomination and Kisame Hoshigaki enough time to fight to their hearts' content and wreak havoc.

The Walk of Fame was a famous tourist attraction. Even on non-holidays, many people stopped to take photos. Recently, however, faces from the Dragon Kingdom were rare. Due to the attack on New York, the country had issued travel warnings, so Chinese tour groups had all but vanished. In fact, throughout the United States, there were hardly any real Chinese people left. Those remaining were either "bananas" or those who thought the very air of America smelled sweet. If these people were caught in the crossfire, well, that was just their bad luck.

Su Ye parked the truck near the Walk of Fame and stepped out alone, walking into a gift shop to buy movie memorabilia. He wore no disguise, walking down the street in his original form.

At that moment, several figures appeared on a rooftop in the distance.

"He actually came out alone? Does he really think that hiding in Los Angeles makes him safe?" Kisame Hoshigaki drew his bandaged blade, Samehada, and leaped from the roof. "Let's go, I'll take the lead!"

The others followed, jumping down from the building. After the death of Deidara and the instant defeat of Sasori’s puppet, they no longer believed they could take Su Ye in one-on-one combat. The five of them would strike together and end it quickly.

Kisame surged ahead, leaping across rooftops, and soon neared Su Ye. In mid-air, he quickly formed seals. "Water Style: Exploding Water Colliding Wave!" He exhaled, a torrent of water erupting like a floodgate, creating a massive waterfall that surged onto the road in waves several meters high, roaring toward Su Ye.

Countless pedestrians and tourists on the street were instantly swept away by the giant wave, dragged along as they slammed into lampposts and walls. The number of people drowning or knocked unconscious was incalculable. Although Kisame looked like a fish, he had plenty of water in him; this single jutsu not only washed away the crowds but turned the entire street into a watery grave, resembling Venice from afar.

After releasing the water, Kisame formed seals again in mid-air. "Water Style: Water Shark Bomb Technique!" He transformed into a shark made of water and dove into the flood, his fin slicing through the surface as he sped toward Su Ye. Beneath the surface, countless unconscious pedestrians floated, and Kisame, masked by the turbulent water, was nearly impossible to detect.

He soon reached Su Ye’s position, having already planned his attack: first use "Thousand Feeding Sharks" to swarm Su Ye, then use "Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave" to fully encapsulate the area. Finally, relying on the agility of the Water Shark Bomb and Samehada’s ability to devour chakra, he would completely overwhelm his target. He aimed to finish the fight as quickly as possible to avoid interference from the Guardians or the Avengers. While the Akatsuki didn't fear them, it was best to avoid unnecessary trouble.

Just as Kisame was about to unleash his thousand sharks, a box truck nearby was smashed open with a thunderous crash. A yellow-green monster burst out, slamming into Kisame and sending him flying through the water.

This monster was Abomination.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Abomination had appeared three times: *The Incredible Hulk*, *Shang-Chi*, and the *She-Hulk* series. During the *Incredible Hulk* era, he was just a hulking patient with severe bone spurs. By the *Shang-Chi* era, his appearance had changed significantly—most notably, he was wearing trunks! Aside from the trunks, his fish-like ears and the dorsal fin on his back were hard to ignore. It seemed the writers had steered his evolution toward a river monster.

Because of this, the Abomination was not hindered in the water; in fact, it seemed to be his home turf. Kisame’s environmental advantage, created by his water jutsu, vanished in an instant.
