Slap!

Chen Yufeng lashed out, his hand connecting squarely with Kong Tianxiang’s face.

"I showed you some respect because you're an elder, and I held back, but it seems you don't know when you're well off, do you?"

Slap!

"You want to kill me? I already told you that I am a force your Kong family cannot afford to offend. Erasing you would take nothing more than a snap of my fingers."

Slap!

"You thought your plan was flawless, didn't you? Trying to blow me to pieces?"

Slap!

"If I don't kill you today, are you going to keep hounding me until the end?"

Slap, slap, slap!

In just over a dozen seconds, Kong Tianxiang’s face had been struck more than ten times. It was swollen into a grotesque, pig-like mess, and several teeth, stained with blood, had been knocked flying. Though he tried to raise his hands to block the blows, it was utterly futile. Before Chen Yufeng, who moved with the prowess of a peerless martial artist, Kong Tianxiang had no power to retaliate.

Kong Tianxiang was a man of immense influence throughout China, a titan who could command the winds and rains, his reach extending to the highest heavens. When had he ever been slapped in the face? Yet now, his face was being ruthlessly pummeled by a young man no older than twenty. Where was his dignity? His face represented honor, supreme status, and overwhelming power—yet in these few moments, those arrogant symbols were being pulverized into dust.

Even more humiliating, this was happening inside his own estate, in front of several of his friends. Even if he were to tear this man into a thousand pieces later, he would never be able to hold his head up in front of these guests again. His reputation was utterly destroyed.

Just then, Kong Tianxiang’s phone rang. The voice on the other end delivered a piece of devastating news: Kong Zehao was dead, killed by an explosion inside his own Ferrari.

Kong Tianxiang froze. His right hand, holding the phone, began to tremble. He could not accept this reality; he refused to believe it. After several seconds of stunned silence, he finally snapped back to reality and let out a primal roar toward the sky:

"No! This is impossible! Impossible..."

The news was like a bolt of lightning from a clear sky. He dropped his phone on the spot. Another son dead. Another one. Both his sons were gone. Gone.

Kong Tianxiang couldn't help but recall Chen Yufeng’s earlier words: "If you aren't sensible, you’ll lose a lot more than just one son!"

Could this man have done it? He couldn't wrap his mind around how—did his own son put explosives in his car and commit suicide? That was clearly impossible. Absolutely impossible. Then how could this have happened? Kong Tianxiang was utterly bewildered. He felt the young man before him was becoming increasingly eerie; he didn't even know how he had infiltrated the estate. By all rights, with so many guards patrolling the perimeter, no stranger should have been able to get in. How had he appeared here without making a sound?

Regaining his composure, Kong Tianxiang pointed a shaking finger at Chen Yufeng, his eyes blazing with fury. "You... did you kill my son?"

"No... he committed suicide." Chen Yufeng paused, then sneered, "Or rather, you should say you killed him. If you, as his father, hadn't come up with this scheme, would he have died?"

"How is this possible? You... how did you do it?"

"I told you long ago not to think about revenge, but you wouldn't listen. You insisted on courting death. I gave you a chance, but you didn't know how to cherish it. Don't blame me when you get to hell."

"You... do you dare kill me? This is the Kong family estate! Do you think you can walk out of here alive?" Kong Tianxiang couldn't believe this man would actually dare to kill him; this was his territory.

He was confident, of course, because an army of guards had finally arrived. Chen Yufeng looked over to see a sea of men in black suits charging toward them with murderous intent—at least two or three hundred of them. Judging by the fierce, disciplined way they moved, they were clearly professionals, far superior to common thugs. These guards alone were usually enough to strike terror into anyone.

However, if Chen Yufeng wanted to kill them, a few seconds would suffice; a few fireballs would turn them all to ash. But these were merely servants of the Kong family; he had no personal grievance with them. If they blocked his path, he would simply kick them aside. As for Kong Tianxiang’s life, that was already forfeit today.

Yet, Kong Tianxiang remained oblivious to the true terror of the young man before him. Seeing his army of guards, he regained his arrogance and pointed at Chen Yufeng, snarling, "Boy, you’re leaving your life here today. Let's see who can save you now."

With that, he barked an order to the guards: "Beat this brat to death! Ten thousand for every strike!"

Clearing obstacles for the family head was part of their duty, and with the added incentive of cash, the guards became as frantic as if they had been injected with adrenaline. They didn't fear going to prison for killing someone—this was the Kong family. With the master backing them, killing one person was no different than killing a dog; no one would dare investigate. In the capital, there was nothing the Kong family couldn't fix.

In an instant, two or three hundred guards raised their batons and charged at Chen Yufeng with a unified roar.

"Die, brat..."

"Beat the life out of this blind fool..."

The scene was like a pack of starving wolves descending upon a lone lamb. They scrambled to swing their clubs, each strike worth ten thousand; they were terrified of missing out on the bounty. Each man wanted to land as many hits as possible.

Initially, Kong Tianxiang believed this boy was as good as dead, destined to be beaten into a pulp by his guard army. But events often defy expectations.

Chen Yufeng blurred into motion, weaving through the guards. With every sweep of his leg, a row of men fell; with every punch, another group was sent crashing down. Even when the guards' batons landed on him, Chen Yufeng felt nothing—it was no more painful than an ant bite to an ordinary person. With the spirit of a peerless master within him, his body was like copper and iron; these common weapons were incapable of harming him.

Bang, bang, bang!

In less than half a minute, an inconceivable scene unfolded. The two or three hundred guards, who had been so fierce and aggressive just moments ago, were all lying on the ground, wailing in agony. And this was only because Chen Yufeng had been exercising extreme restraint; had he not held back, they would have been shattered into pieces, with no chance of survival.

Shock. Utter, profound shock.

Kong Tianxiang and his wealthy, influential friends had witnessed it all. They had seen it clearly: one man, empty-handed, had taken down hundreds of armed guards in under thirty seconds. It was a complete and utter beatdown. Who had ever seen such a shocking display in real life, outside of television?

As the dignitaries felt a sense of disbelief, they also felt a secret relief. They were lucky they had the sense to realize this man was no ordinary foe and had not intervened. Otherwise, their own ends would surely have been miserable. They were usually the ones standing at the top, ordering others around, enjoying fawning flattery, and holding the fates of others in their hands. They were accustomed to their own authority. Yet now, facing this young man, they didn't even dare to speak, only watching from a distance.
