“My… my goodness, how on earth did you do that?” Luo Fang looked up and was stunned by the incredible sight before her, exclaiming in amazement.

There stood Chen Yufeng, floating over two meters above the ground in a lotus meditation posture. With a grand wave of his hand, the goldfish in the tank leapt out, flying around in midair. Another wave lifted the coffee table and sofa off the floor. Then, with a sweeping gesture, Luo Fang herself began to levitate.

“Wow, I’m flying! I’m actually flying!” she cried out joyfully.

Floating magic? A master illusionist?

Could this guy really be an extraordinary magician?

Luo Fang had always been fascinated by mystifying magic and loved watching magic shows with a passion bordering on obsession. She admired magicians deeply, especially the handsome and charismatic YIF, whose performances she had only seen through her phone screen. Though impressive, none of those had given her the firsthand thrill she was experiencing now.

Even witnessing live magic shows had never involved her participation, and none had left her as awestruck as this—being lifted off the ground with no visible trickery.

This magic was flawless. She wasn’t tied to any wires or harnesses; how else could she be floating?

The only conclusion was that Chen Yufeng was an exceptionally skilled magician.

As she hovered midair, fear was replaced by excitement. Flapping her arms like wings, she soared around the room, utterly delighted. Her gaze at Chen Yufeng sparkled with admiration and awe.

“Master Chen, you’re amazing!”

Snapping back to reality, she looked at him in astonishment and exclaimed, “Master Chen, didn’t you say you weren’t a magician? Then what is this? Undoubtedly, this must be one of the most incredible illusions—the levitation trick, right? And it looks totally flawless.”

Chen Yufeng smiled calmly and replied softly, “I did say my specialty is prophecy, not magic. I only know a little, nothing stage-worthy.”

“My goodness! That’s ‘just a little’? Nothing stage-worthy? That’s already incredible!” Luo Fang was speechless.

If that’s what ‘not stage-worthy’ means, then what kind of magic do those professional magicians perform?

About a minute later, with another grand wave of his hand, all the floating objects dropped back into place.

Bang—

The coffee table crashed heavily onto the floor and shattered into shards of glass everywhere.

“Ah, Master, what happened? I thought that was a perfect illusion, but now there’s a flaw. Such a pity. If the table hadn’t broken, I’d have given you a perfect score for this levitation trick. Now, only ninety-nine points,” Luo Fang lamented, shaking her head.

She wasn’t upset about the table itself but saddened that such a flawless performance had a minor slip at the end. What a shame!

Chen Yufeng, however, looked annoyed. “What are you pitying? I didn’t perform magic just now.”

“What? You didn’t perform magic? Are you trying to fool me?” Luo Fang stared at him incredulously.

“Master Chen, stop hiding your identity as a magician. Despite that little flaw at the end, your trick utterly outshone all other magicians,” she insisted.

“Honestly, your magic is even better than YIF’s. It was so breathtaking and you even involved me without me realizing—amazing.”

“No, no, you’ve misunderstood,” Chen Yufeng shook his head, as if dismissing her praise. “You don’t think levitating once is all there is to magic, do you?”

As he spoke, he suddenly produced a pigeon from thin air with a swift flick of his hand. Then a flame burst from his palm. Without pause, he pulled a half-meter-long sword from his mouth. The goldfish from the tank instantly appeared in his hand.

He performed a dozen quick magic tricks one after another within seconds, all common illusions seen on television.

Luo Fang was utterly dumbfounded, her world turned upside down.

Performing so many tricks in mere seconds? One incredible illusion after another? Is that really what magic is? If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe such a magician could exist.

Master Chen, you’re truly admirable.

The title of the world’s greatest magician belongs to no one but you.

Seeing her stunned expression, Chen Yufeng shrugged, unimpressed. “These? You call these magic? Your understanding of magic is so superficial.”

Still dazed, Luo Fang watched as Chen Yufeng waved his hand toward the shattered coffee table.

“Broken mirror, reunite!”

What happened next was uncanny.

The shattered pieces eerily reassembled themselves, and within three seconds, the table looked brand new, without a single trace of damage.

“Unbelievable…” Luo Fang’s mind went blank, her legs buckled, and she collapsed onto the floor, speechless as she stared at Chen Yufeng.

She loved magic for its mystery and allure but even she had limits.

A completely shattered table restoring itself in three seconds? That wasn’t magic—it was sorcery.

After a long moment of shock, Luo Fang slowly regained her composure. Beyond deep admiration for Chen Yufeng was an overwhelming curiosity.

Magic was incredible, but this was beyond belief. And this was no video—it was right before her eyes!

“How… how did you do that?” she asked, almost doubting whether he was even human.

Chen Yufeng knew she was thoroughly stunned, perhaps even frightened. Quietly pleased, he calmly patted her on the head.

“Girl, what is magic? What does ‘magic’ even mean? If it’s not a little fantastical, can you really call it magic?”

“Don’t ask me why. I have the Divine Disk. I’m the best.”

“You have a point, but still…” Luo Fang was struggling to comprehend.

Chen Yufeng interrupted hastily, “Remember, Fang, don’t reveal my identity. I haven’t even performed for your team leader. You have to keep this a secret, okay?”

“Ah?”

After a moment, Luo Fang looked at him like he was a deity, nodding solemnly. “I will keep your secret. But if you have such incredible magic, why not show it off and become famous worldwide?”

“Because…” Chen Yufeng tossed his head back, “I keep a low profile.”
