Chapter 110: Queen, I Request to Join the Battle!
Chapter 110: Queen, I Request to Join the Battle!
"Initiating large-scale space jump..."
"Target: Earth's orbit near Saturn..."
"This jump will lead directly into the battlefield; please be advised..."
As the announcement echoed, the *Blade of Heaven VII* plunged into a shimmering, massive wormhole. For super-soldiers and angels equipped with dark-matter computers, the transition was barely noticeable. However, for the augmented soldiers, the sensation was quite uncomfortable—after all, wormhole jumping involves breaking down the body and reassembling it. One couldn't help but wonder: once reassembled, are you still really you?
Nevertheless, everyone was mentally prepared. This was no time to ponder such things; the upcoming battle was far more important.
"Target reached..."
"Orbit near Saturn in the Red Crow star system..."
Following the broadcast, everyone on the *Blade of Heaven VII* sprang into action. Ge Xiaolun was the busiest of them all, as he needed to deploy as many super-weapons as possible. In his quest for speed, he dragged an unenthusiastic Yun Yang along, claiming he needed Yun Yang to boost his computational power. This led to the following scene:
On the asteroids of Saturn’s rings, five-meter-tall missile launch towers sprouted like bamboo shoots after a spring rain. Ge Xiaolun extended his hands, and the launch towers miraculously manifested before him, while Yun Yang stood to the side, muttering to himself.
"Tell me, why did you bring me here? One person is just as fast as two."
"Add energy, add energy!" Ge Xiaolun said, feeling a bit awkward. He hadn't expected the launch towers to be so easy to manifest; calculating them felt like a game. This was to be expected, as the towers didn't require rare "dark" metals, making them relatively simple to simulate.
Once Ge Xiaolun finished building, the augmented soldiers took over. They carried the missiles from the transport ships—yes, one per person—flew to the launch towers, and slotted them in. One installation complete.
Seeing the missiles, Ge Xiaolun couldn't help but complain, "The computational load for one of these missiles is enough to manifest five launch towers. Tritium is surprisingly difficult to calculate."
Yun Yang paused, searching his memory for what tritium was. He connected the dots: tritium, fission, atomic weapons, hydrogen bombs. He looked at the missiles in shock and chimed in, "You're really going all out since you're not at home, aren't you? With this many hydrogen bombs, you're trying to blow the Taotie to bits all at once, huh?"
"Is this a lot? Earth prepared two thousand missiles for us this time, and they must all be used. If the Taotie haven't arrived by the time we run out, I'll have to fabricate more missiles on the spot." Ge Xiaolun felt overwhelmed. Is this really how one should use the power of Void Creation? Even super-soldiers get tired, you know.
"Tsk, atomic bombs becoming conventional weapons. My Earth is truly something else, haha." Yun Yang patted Ge Xiaolun on the shoulder, delivering a cold joke. Ge Xiaolun could only offer a dry laugh in return.
Aside from those already busy, everyone else remaining on the *Blade of Heaven VII* was laughing and chatting, completely unconcerned about the coming battle. The first-generation angels were particularly dismissive, looking down on the Taotie of the Space Age. More than once, they had petitioned A-Zhui to join the fight against the "Heavenly Scum."
A-Zhui, however, refused each time. These Heavenly Scum were all second-generation; if first-generation vanguard angels joined the fray, the casualties would be too high—something A-Zhui could never accept. The Angel civilization now numbered fewer than three hundred thousand, most of whom were retired. There were only about forty first-generation angels here, and even counting the guardian angels, there were fewer than seventy. Losing even one would break A-Zhui's heart.
Then there was the Black Troop. Qi Lin’s eyes were practically squinting with joy as she looked at the five hundred "God-Slayer I" rounds before her. She had never seen so many at once and felt she could afford to fire one for every shot she missed.
However, Lian Feng, standing nearby, looked grave. She repeatedly demanded that Qi Lin ensure every shot counted. These were the long-hoarded supplies of the Black Great Wall; if they were wasted, there would be no more. Qi Lin nodded in agreement, promising with a firm attitude to be frugal, though in her heart, she thought otherwise.
*Doesn't Xiaolun have me covered? If materials run low, I'll just make him build more. I’m going to have fun shooting. Besides, a single God-Slayer I round isn't enough to kill a second-generation Heavenly Scum; you need at least two, unless you hit a vital spot.*
Fine, in Qi Lin's mind, Ge Xiaolun had officially become a human tool.
Beside her, Wei Ying looked sour. The crossbow bolts assigned to her were only of the "Flame" grade. The reasoning was that she already possessed God-Slayer power, so equipping her with God-Slayer-grade bolts would be a waste, especially since the Taotie forces didn't have super-soldiers.

*Demon One*, Command Hall.
"Queen, the *Blade of Heaven VII* has jumped to Saturn's orbit," a demon reported after detecting the ship's location. Morgana nodded to show she understood.
At that moment, A-Tuo, standing to the side, asked, "Queen, since the *Blade of Heaven VII* has left Earth, should we use the Heavenly Condemnation bombardment to hit them a few times?"
"How many times do I have to tell you, A-Tuo? Keisha is dead. Those little grilled angel chicks are no threat to us. Ask A-Tai if he wants to kill them." Morgana tilted her head and pointed at A-Tai.
When A-Tai heard his Queen mention him, he couldn't help but voice his own thoughts. "I don't! Of course not. Wouldn't it be better to bring back a guardian angel? A-Tuo, you really are destined to be alone, just knowing how to fight and kill all day. No wonder the Queen doesn't love you."
As the words left his mouth, A-Tai was kicked across the room by Morgana, much to the pity of the other demons. A-Tuo watched A-Tai's miserable state and smirked. *That’s what you get for poking my sore spot, getting beaten by the Queen. Serves you right.* He thought this so happily that his hand, currently peeling a watermelon, moved a bit faster.
"Alright, let's keep observing. We are not getting involved in this war between Earth and the Taotie," Morgana commanded directly.
"Queen! Queen! I request to join the battle!" A-Tai scrambled off the wall and rushed to Morgana, shouting loudly.
Morgana’s face darkened, and she wanted to kick him again, but she held back. With a hostile tone, she said, "You better give me a reason to join the battle, or I’ll squash you, Queen."
Morgana’s tone didn't affect A-Tai in the slightest. He chirped up, stating his thoughts clearly. "A guardian angel! I want to go catch a guardian angel." After speaking, A-Tai looked at his Queen with expectant eyes, as if he would hug her legs if she didn't agree.
As A-Tai finished, the surrounding demons became excited. *That's right! We don't have to participate in the war, but we can go catch a guardian angel!* Thinking of this, the other demons all looked at Morgana with anticipation.
Morgana clearly felt their gazes. A row of black lines appeared on her forehead, and she covered her face, pointing at herself. "Am I not beautiful?"
"Beautiful!" the demons answered in unison. After all, since their Queen had stopped wearing heavy makeup, she was truly stunning—at the very least, not losing to the former Keisha.
"Is Yu Qin not beautiful?" Morgana nodded, then pointed to Yu Qin nearby.
Yu Qin, hearing herself mentioned, pointed at herself in confusion. "Me?"
"Beautiful!" the demons glanced at Yu Qin and replied in unison.
"And Qiang Wei... uh, Qiang Wei is mine," Morgana said. She had wanted to ask their opinion on Qiang Wei, but realizing what she was about to say, she pivoted.
"Mm-hmm," the demons nodded in agreement.
"Then why don't you pursue Yu Qin instead of thinking about angels all day?" Morgana pointed at Yu Qin again, her tone full of frustration at their lack of ambition.
"Yu Qin isn't an angel," A-Tai replied instantly.
"Tomorrow, I'll give Yu Qin wings—white ones," Morgana said, covering her face again.
The demons’ eyes lit up, and they looked at Yu Qin with fanaticism. This terrified Yu Qin; she scrambled up in panic, hid behind Qiang Wei, and pleaded with a tearful voice, "Queen Morgana, I feel fine as I am. I don't want wings."
"Liang Bing, Yu Qin is with me," Qiang Wei said, patting the arm Yu Qin was gripping, her voice stern.
"Then there's nothing I can do." Hearing Qiang Wei, Morgana paused, then shrugged to show it wasn't her business anymore.
"Then Queen, let me go catch a guardian angel," A-Tai said, unable to hide his excitement as he waved his hands.
Morgana was silent for a moment, a trace of memory in her eyes. She sighed and said, "Fine. The Taotie still have some strength. If you see an angel who is heavily wounded, bring her back to *Demon One*. Only capture first-generation ones. If anyone dares to bring back a second or third-generation one, I’ll dismantle *Demon One* and make you wait ten thousand years to be resurrected."
With just those words, the command hall of *Demon One* erupted into a frenzy. Honestly, the demons held no hatred for the angels; their conflict was purely because of Keisha. Now that she was dead, most of the demons felt a sense of longing for the angels—after all, they were the most beautiful bodies in the known universe.
As Morgana's order spread throughout *Demon One*, all the demons fell into an inexplicable fever. They donned their best armor and even groomed themselves. They were eager to bring back a guardian angel, some even preparing hundreds of pairs of special handcuffs meant to suppress dark energy. They didn't stop to think that there were fewer than fifty first-generation angel vanguards, and not all of them would necessarily be severely wounded.
But they didn't care. If they were wounded, they’d just snatch them up. *Demon One* was big enough; even catching a few thousand angels wouldn't be too many.
Meanwhile, Suo Tun listened to the demons' chatter, drooling as he muttered about "fairy sisters" and "fairy buns."
