Milk and orange juice! Nami plastered against the wall!
Under a clear blue sky and calm, mirror-like waves, seagulls circled above the Going Merry.
The ocean currents gently washed against the deep-sea boulders, while schools of unidentified fish swam leisurely through the water.
"Hey, Usopp, could it be that you've also hit male menopause early? Why have you lost so much hair?!" Luffy mumbled, his mouth stuffed with a massive piece of meat on the bone.
"This is all Zoro's fault! He talks with the sword spirit Xiaowen late into the night every single day, which leaves me severely sleep-deprived!"
"As early as a week ago, Tyrant... Mr. Tyrant even warned me that a lack of sleep in men triggers the onset of menopause prematurely."
Usopp scratched his head and looked down at his hands full of fallen hair, on the verge of tears.
Damn it!
Could it be that the captain here has caught some kind of contagion from the rubber boy and entered middle age way ahead of time?
Swallowing his food in two quick bites, Luffy instantly polished off the giant bone-in meat, crunching right through the bones with a crisp sound.
He casually took off his straw hat, revealing a shiny, bald head:
"Usopp, you need to be strong! If all else fails, just do like me and shave it all off together!"
"Mr. Tyrant once told me: No matter what difficulties you encounter, do not be afraid. Face it with a smile! The best way to eliminate fear is to face fear head-on. Persistence is victory!"
Luffy's personality had always been carefree, and he felt that as the captain, he had a duty to properly guide and enlighten his crewmate.
After all, he had already summarized his personal experience in combating hair loss.
So what if you're losing hair? What's the big deal?
Just shave all the hair completely off, and would you ever need to worry about hair loss again?
"No way, I need to think of a way to save my endangered hair!"
Usopp certainly didn't have skin as thick as Luffy's.
Normally, he loved tinkering with bizarre gadgets; items like Nami's Clima-Tact and Sanji's Raid Suit had all been invented by Usopp.
With just a few stubborn strands of hair left on his head, Usopp dove back into his workshop.
This time, he was determined to research something that could make his hair grow back...
"Hurry up and look, everyone, I see a new island!"
Zoro was floating leisurely in mid-air, practicing sword-flight, leaving Sanji below staring up with a look of intense envy.
"Really? What kind of island is that?"
Luffy stretched out his arms and plopped himself down right onto the sheep's figurehead of the Going Merry.
Holding Kaya by the waist, Chu Baying smiled and said:
"That is Loguetown, known as the town of the beginning and the end! The former Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, was born in Loguetown and was also executed right here."
Located near the entrance of the Grand Line, this place was a mandatory stop for anyone entering the Grand Line from the East Blue.
Captain Smoker, a student of the former Marine Admiral Zephyr, was stationed there to guard the town.
"Looks like a pretty big town. There should be a market selling fresh ingredients inside. It's about time to restock the Going Merry with fresh supplies."
Sanji lit a cigarette for himself, taking the careful precaution of standing a good distance away from Chu Baying and Kaya.
He had once heard Chu Baying mention, intentionally or not, that even secondhand smoke was harmful to infants and companions alike!
Ever since then, Sanji rarely smoked in public places.
For this, Chu Baying had specially gifted Sanji a box of Zobo genuine triple-filtered eco-friendly cigarette holders.
These filtered holders had been treasured by Sanji like precious jewels, and he had even taken them out on multiple occasions to flaunt them right in front of Zoro...
Zoro had been filled with endless regret, beating his chest and stamping his feet in frustration, hating himself for not learning how to smoke in his younger days—otherwise, he would have begged for a few filtered cigarette holders as souvenirs no matter what!
"Then I need to head over to a weapon shop. A three-sword-style swordsman with only one sword looks utterly ridiculous."
Zoro cast a covetous glance at the Myriad Blade hanging around Chu Baying's waist and secretly licked his lips.
Chu Baying had once casually mentioned that if he could defeat Dracule Mihawk within two years, he might just receive this top-tier weapon from the Divine Forging Country as a graduation reward!
The unforgettable scene of Chu Baying wielding the Myriad Blade and effortlessly cutting down Captain Rat with a single slash was deeply engraved in Zoro's mind.
To put it simply, Zoro dreamed of hugging the Myriad Blade while he slept!
[Myriad Blade: Damn it! I treat you like my master, and you actually want to sleep with me?!]
"I need to go to a tool shop as well. And then buy a hat by the way."
Usopp pulled down the brim of his small cap, trying to cover up his receding hairline.
"Sanji, pluck a few oranges before you leave. I want to help Ba-ba squeeze some fresh orange juice to drink."
Upon hearing that Nami wanted to make orange juice for Chu Baying, Sanji eagerly scampered up the orange tree.
Nami wore a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes, her gaze sweeping past Chu Baying's broad chest with a trace of excitement.
"Ba-ba must have been exhausted last night, right? Shall Nami squeeze some orange juice for you to nourish your body?"
Nami whispered softly right beside Chu Baying's ear.
The one tortured last night hadn't been Kaya alone—Nami, pressed right against the wall, had suffered through it too!
The room she slept in was right next door to Kaya and Chu Baying, and the lingering sounds of passion had certainly been far from quiet!
How was a Nami who had just entered puberty supposed to sleep through that?!
Besides, Nami was already suffering from a bit of insomnia due to leaving her hometown.
Unexpectedly, in the middle of the night, she had accidentally caught a glimpse through a hole in the wall of the intensely heated and intimate lovemaking between Chu Baying and Kaya.
Nami had instantly been electrified, staying wide awake all night in pure excitement!
Whenever she closed her eyes, her mind was completely filled with fantasies of replacing Kaya and being wildly ravished by Chu Baying!
Ever since that night, the Cat Burglar Nami had finally grown up!
"Alright, let me taste your culinary skills, Nami. It's been quite a while since I've had orange juice."
Chu Baying felt slightly puzzled.
*I am strong and robust, Ba-ba; I merely spend two hours every night tilling the fields with your mother.*
*Even if someone needed orange juice for nourishment, it should be Kaya who needs it!*
The corner of Nami's mouth curved upward into a subtle smile as she said, "Father dearest, Nami's skills will definitely satisfy you completely!"
For some reason, Chu Baying always felt that some kind of hidden scheme was lurking beneath Nami's smile.
To be honest, Chu Baying was naturally well aware of Nami peeping into their late-night passion.
Knowing about it was one thing, but taking action was another matter entirely.
If he had used his abilities to block the small hole in the wall, wouldn't it have made the peeping Nami feel even more embarrassed?
And if Kaya were to find out that she had been watched by Nami through a hole in the wall every single night, she would surely have died of shame and indignation!
Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp scampered off toward Loguetown in high spirits.
The ship was suddenly left with only Chu Baying and Nami.
As for Kaya, having nothing better to do, she remained seated in the study, quietly researching medical texts.
"Ba-ba... is it good?"
Nami handed over a glass of orange juice.
"Sweet and sour, the taste is quite nice."
Chu Baying replied truthfully.
Nami suddenly lowered her head, leaning intimately close to Chu Baying's ear, and whispered:
"Then, compared to Mama Kaya's milk, which one tastes better?"
