Chapter 72 Earth: Finally United
I Dream spoke of his intention to leave; now that the situation had finally improved, he had to understand Fujimiya’s thoughts. Yet as soon as I Dream took two steps, Sincere called out to him, “Wait, do you know where Hiroya Fujimiya is?”
“Well...” I Dream paused, his expression perplexed.
Daniel, appearing on the comms video, prompted I Dream, “I Dream, Fujimiya has already left Prolon Kalamos. No one knows where he is now.”
“Dr. Inamori left with Fujimiya. She might know, but she won’t tell you—I’ve already asked.”
Daniel secretly complained to himself. Fujimiya had barely returned and already caused such a stir—he even managed to persuade Dr. Inamori to leave with him. Daniel couldn’t fathom how Dr. Inamori, without a hint of hesitation, followed Fujimiya. He suspected there was something between them. Years ago, during the development of Crisis, those two had worked closely for several months. A man and a woman alone together, with no one else around—who’s to say what might have grown beyond mere friendship?
Hearing Daniel’s words, I Dream found himself at a loss. He couldn’t understand how Fujimiya always managed to locate him effortlessly, while tracking Fujimiya himself was nearly impossible.
‘Wait!’ Suddenly, something occurred to him, and his gaze shifted to Jojo.
Both he and Jojo possessed supernatural abilities; Jojo should be able to find Fujimiya!
Seeing I Dream’s expectant look, Jojo arched his brow and said, “Let’s go. I can locate Fujimiya.”
He still had matters to discuss with Fujimiya, and bringing I Dream along was no trouble. The last time he snatched the Blue Sapphire Bracelet from Fujimiya, Jojo had noted the energy signature of Ocean’s Light. Fujimiya had countless secret bases, and Jojo couldn’t pinpoint him directly, but tracking Ocean’s Light would suffice.
With those words, Jojo led I Dream out of the command room. Sincere made to follow them, but Stone Chamber called out, “Director Sincere, let the two of them handle this.”
“But shouldn’t we at least try to learn more?” Sincere’s expression was bewildered.
As the door to the command room closed, Stone Chamber, solemn-faced, walked to the window, Sincere following him in confusion.
Once the EX departed the aerial base, Stone Chamber spoke gravely, “There are matters that only Jojo and I Dream are suited to handle.”
“Our role is to trust them. They’ll take care of things.”

Sincere: “?”
What matters exactly? Why don’t you explain it a little more clearly!
Stone Chamber maintained his enigmatic demeanor, refusing to elaborate, leaving Sincere feeling frustrated.
Meanwhile, aboard the EX, Jojo’s wrist shimmered with the Blue Sapphire Ring as he carefully sensed the location of Ocean’s Light.
I Dream watched, envious. So that’s why you two always manage to appear near me! There’s actually a way to track someone!
He pulled out his own Blue Sapphire Cone, mimicking Jojo’s method, hoping to sense something, but nothing happened.
‘When I have time, I must visit the Quantum Laboratory.’
Returning the Blue Sapphire Cone to his pocket, I Dream resolved inwardly.
With Jojo guiding him, I Dream piloted the EX straight toward Fujimiya’s location.
And what was Fujimiya doing at that moment?
He was in a secret base somewhere, watching Kyoko Inamori amuse herself with a hamster.
Having been betrayed by Crisis—the entity he had always trusted—Fujimiya’s years-long pursuits and the answers he had sought now seemed futile.
Fortunately, his resolve remained strong, and having refrained from the actions depicted in the TV series, he had found a new purpose.
He returned to his original intent: to change humanity.
But Fujimiya was no longer naïve, no longer seeking simply to benefit humankind; now, he intended to use the power of Agul to awaken humanity.
After replacing the little water bottle on the hamster cage, Inamori glanced at the contemplative Fujimiya. “Still thinking about how to change humanity?”
Her question brought Fujimiya back to himself. He walked over, staring at the hamster in its cage.
“Lily will probably live for a few more months, but how much longer can humanity survive?”
“With the Destruction Summoners invading now, I want to act quickly.”
“But Fujimiya,” Inamori’s gaze was filled with worry, her tone gentle, “these things can’t be rushed.”
As they conversed, a sudden light screen appeared beside Fujimiya, startling Inamori.
“Fujimiya, be careful!”
“No need to panic,” Jojo’s voice sounded from within the light. As the energy dissipated, he appeared, bringing I Dream with him. “Looks like we’ve come at the wrong time, interrupting your date.”

“I Dream, shall we leave them alone?”
He looked at I Dream, as if intending to depart with him—but made no move to activate a teleportation screen.
Inamori blushed at the teasing, “No, it’s not like that at all.”
Though she protested, her eyes involuntarily flicked toward Fujimiya.
“Jojo, cut out the games,” Fujimiya sensed Inamori’s glance, and chose to steer the conversation away.
He didn’t wish to ponder matters of the heart for now, nor did he know how to face Inamori.
“Jojo?” Inamori was surprised by Fujimiya’s address, then looked at Jojo and realized, “So you’re Jojo Ultraman.”
She turned to I Dream, piecing things together, and ventured, “Then, I Dream, you must be Gaia Ultraman?”
Inamori was trustworthy, and she would soon become involved in Fujimiya’s plans, so Fujimiya had no reason to hide anything from her.
“Uh...” I Dream, caught out, felt awkward and pressed his hands together, “Please, I beg you to keep this secret for me.”
Jojo remained composed. Fujimiya knew how to handle things; if he revealed their identities, Inamori could certainly be trusted.
Inamori smiled warmly at I Dream. “I never imagined everything would be so coincidental. Don’t worry, I’ll keep your secret.”
Fujimiya shot I Dream a glance, his expression wooden as he reminded him, “I Dream, let me be clear:”
“If you want to be part of this, don’t hold me back.”
Once, I Dream would have argued with Fujimiya, but after Jojo’s guidance, he had come to understand Fujimiya’s nature. “Fujimiya! From now on, we’ll fight side by side!”
The straightforward declaration caught Fujimiya off guard, especially the sincerity in I Dream’s eyes, leaving him momentarily speechless.
“Let’s discuss what comes next,” Jojo said, pulling up a chair and sitting.
Glad for the opportunity to avoid I Dream’s earnest gaze, Fujimiya asked, “Do you have any suggestions?”
I Dream looked to Jojo as well. Fujimiya hadn’t answered directly, but I Dream knew that meant tacit approval.
Jojo considered their expectant faces and began, “I wonder—are either of you familiar with the principles of geomancy?”
“Beneath the city of Tokyo lies a dragon vein, and that vein has manifested as the Earth monster, Ren Long.”
