Chapter 134: Gaia Earth: Save Me, Save Me, Save Me, Save Me, Save Me, Save Me
(Page 1 of 3)
There was no need to call the Memory Police for the unconscious woman.
A simple use of Ultra telekinesis would be enough to hypnotize her into believing it had all been a nightmare.
As he became more proficient with his psychic powers, Qiao Zhe gradually mastered the technique.
After explaining the situation to Takami and Shiori, he opened a portal of light and brought them back to the base command room.
The fact that Shiori Hiraki and Takami were police officers was hardly a difficult problem to solve.
Wakura happened to be at the base, taking charge of the personnel there.
He had Kirasawa Yu and Mizorogi explain the situation to Jun Himeya and the others.
Qiao Zhe then found Wakura. “Hiraki Shiori and Takami are both with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Tell them that, from now on, these two belong to our base.”
Although Takami’s R7 factor was somewhat lower than Himeya Jun’s and the others’, he had a face like Shinjo’s. He should be able to accomplish something.
This wasn’t the world of Tiga. Surely he couldn’t also be some sort of crash-landing king, right?
After thinking it over, Qiao Zhe added, “Kazuya Komon and Riko Saida should join the team as well.”
“Understood.” Wakura nodded.
Komon and Riko both possessed extremely high R7 factors.
But with the story now changed, Qiao Zhe did not know whether Komon would be affected.
He had checked on Komon through subspace. The young man was still alive and well, with no danger to his life and no sudden illness.
Komon was undoubtedly the most unusual of them all. When he was a child, he had fallen into a river and nearly drowned, only to be saved by his future self.
Perhaps it involved some theory of spacetime. It was impossible to explain in just a sentence or two. In any case, Komon was currently in no danger.
As for Riko Saida, she had originally been Faust’s host, but she was also a suitable host for Nexus. She had merely been stolen away.
A special combat team, modeled roughly on the structure of the Victory Team, needed a communications officer, frontline combat personnel, a field commander, and, most importantly, a scientist.
Riko Saida seemed the best choice for communications officer, while Nagi Saijyo would certainly belong on the front lines.
Kirasawa Yu could handle field command. After all, he had arranged tactics before.
Mizorogi, Jun Himeya, Takami, and Komon would all serve as frontline combat personnel.
They were still missing a scientist. A special combat team without a scientist was incomplete.
Just look at the neighboring MAC Team. Without a scientist, they had suffered miserably.
Qiao Zhe thought of Sara Mizuhara. He wondered whether he could recruit her.
He would give it a try once he returned. Perhaps he could actually bring her into the team.
After finishing his instructions to Wakura, Qiao Zhe entered subspace and opened a view of the Gaia Earth.
He had left Komon and Riko to Wakura because something had happened on Gaia Earth.
While Qiao Zhe was dealing with the Space Beasts, the Extinction Bringers had once again harassed Gaia Earth.

Mizasard, that tireless monster, had appeared once again to study the human brain. He seemed to take endless pleasure in it.
The black technology developed by Gamu was the perfect counter to him.
After losing his state as a wave-based life-form, the creature was soundly beaten by Gamu after he transformed into Gaia.
Mizasard had been dealt with that morning, and by the afternoon, an Anti-Universe Monster had arrived.
Fujimiya could no longer sit still.
He considered the other monsters troublesome and left them all to Gamu, but this Anti-Universe Monster intended to blow up the Earth.
The Anti-Universe was an antimatter universe. If it came into contact with Earth, a matter-based planet, it would produce an explosively powerful reaction.
The entire solar system would be destroyed!
What was more, this Anti-Universe Monster wanted to transform the Earth into antimatter, causing it to explode and reboot the universe.
Fujimiya could not tolerate anything involving the destruction of Earth—not for even a moment.
He immediately teamed up with Gamu, and together they gave the Anti-Universe Monster a brutal beating, sending it back into the Anti-Universe.
Of course, Qiao Zhe had not come over to watch the two of them show off.
He had come because, after Gamu suddenly vanished from Gaia Earth, everyone there had nearly worn out the emergency call button.
The Light of the Sky had kept sounding alarms, urging him to find out what was happening.
As soon as Qiao Zhe returned to Gaia Earth, the communicator in his pocket began to beep.
He took out the XIG communicator, and Tsutsumi Makoto’s video appeared on the small screen. “Qiao Zhe, is Gamu with you?”
“He took EX and went out. We lost contact with him an hour ago!”
“Don’t worry.” As he reassured Tsutsumi, Qiao Zhe formed a theory. “I’m heading to the Air Base now.”
After ending the call, the Blue Bracelet appeared on his wrist. A silver portal of light unfolded, with its destination set to the XIG restroom.
Qiao Zhe had received the warning, and Fujimiya had received it as well.
At that moment, Fujimiya was trying to sense the location of Gamu’s Earth Light, but he detected nothing.
“Where did that fool Gamu go?”
Holding the Blue Bracelet, Fujimiya went to the computer and opened the monitoring program.
There were no monsters anywhere on Earth, either.
He swiftly hacked into the satellites, but there were no intruders outside Earth, either.
“Gamu, you’d better not be in trouble.”
Having found no clues at all, Fujimiya’s expression grew grave.
Meanwhile, the doors to the XIG command room opened.

It had been some time since Shishi had last seen Qiao Zhe, but he did not ask too many questions.
“Do you have any leads on Gamu?” Shishi went straight to the point, his expression solemn.
Tsutsumi and Chiba were both extremely tense. They were terrified of hearing that Gamu had been ambushed.
The crucial problem was that EX’s position had vanished, and no trace of it could be found anywhere in the world.
“Has Gamu recently built a spacetime transfer device?” Qiao Zhe asked Shishi about the key possibility.
At those words, Shishi recalled Gamu’s recent overtime.
While everyone else had been sleeping, Gamu had remained full of energy late into the night, working nonstop.
“A spacetime transfer device? He finished assembling it the night before last. Does that have something to do with this?”
Tsutsumi knew about it. The device had not yet been tested.
Qiao Zhe immediately understood.
The spacetime transfer device had been assembled, and Gamu had now vanished. Most likely, he had been summoned by that wish-granting red sphere to the world of Tsutomu Shinobara.
“Just wait. Gamu may appear on his own in about an hour.”
He said this without the slightest concern, then walked over and sat down in a nearby chair.
Chiba looked at him in confusion. “Why do we have to wait an hour?”
“Why?” Qiao Zhe picked up the documents lying on the table and gave the universal answer. “I’m looking for the reason myself.”
Chiba: “?”
Shishi gave Qiao Zhe a deep look but did not doubt his words.
“All right. Trust Qiao Zhe’s judgment.”
While covering for him, Shishi secretly thought that Qiao Zhe might have used an Ultraman’s power and simply found it difficult to explain to anyone else.
The others fell silent and waited. Under such circumstances, however, the passage of time felt unbearably slow.
Gamu was the darling of XIG. Everyone was worried about his safety, so none of the people present left.
At last, after an agonizing hour, Atsuko cried out in delight. “It’s EX! EX’s position has appeared!”
Everyone, please cast your monthly votes.
