Antes de Ruan An'an chegar, Jiang Wuyang era extremamente mimada. Até que o pai de Ruan An'an morreu para salvar o pai dela. Ruan An'an, então, passou a morar na casa dela, ocupando o seu lugar.
Inside the Lishui Bay Villa.
Two figures sat opposite each other at a small dining table.
Both wore the Yun City No. 1 High School uniform, exuding youth and vitality.
The girl had her hair tied in a high ponytail and quietly ate her breakfast.
“Yangyang, I want to talk to you about something.”
Jiang Wuyang said nothing, patiently waiting for him to continue.
“An An isn’t in good health, and now that her father has passed away, I want to bring her to live with us.”
Jiang Yiran’s tone was indifferent, his attitude casual. Rather than seeking agreement, it felt more like a notification.
Unexpectedly, Jiang Wuyang showed little reaction and simply nodded.
“Sure.”
Jiang Yiran glanced at her oddly.
He went on, “An An’s health isn’t great. I want to find her a south-facing room, one that gets plenty of sunlight. She…”
Before he could finish, Jiang Wuyang interrupted, “Fine. I’ll tidy up and make room for your dear little sister right away.”
Hearing this, Jiang Yiran frowned, a nameless fury rising in his heart.
He snapped, “Jiang Wuyang, what nonsense are you spouting?!”
Jiang Wuyang rolled her eyes at him and retorted bluntly, “Isn’t this exactly what you wanted? Why pretend otherwise?”
Embarrassment flashed across Jiang Yiran’s face, caught out in his sordid intentions.
Frustrated, he shouted, “Get out!”
Jiang Wuyang paid him no mind, casually wiped her mouth, and turned to get into the car that always drove her to school.
“Let’s go, Uncle Wang.”
